The Premier League have made changes concerning 2020/21 season. They have agreed to return back to three changes in the upcoming 2020/21 season with a Seven man on the bench maximum.
The premier league Restart which approved a 5-man sub will now be revert back to a 3-man sub next campaign.
The English top flight will now return to a Three sub per game while a total number of Seven will be allowed on the bench obeying Coronavirus regulations also.
On the aspect of VAR also, Referees will be allowed next season to use side monitors in making final controversial decisions such as red card, Penalty, and goals.
The 2020/21 season will also have a new rule for goalkeepers during Penalty. There will be no tolerance on goalkeeper leaving his line during Penalty. A retake will be taken if the goalkeeper’s foot is over the line whenever he saves a Penalty.
Thirdly, there will be no tolerance for offsides. Assistant referees are now henceforth encouraged to drop their flag on marginal decisions and only to raise the flag once a goalscoring chance has been completed.
